it's been so long.

seriously, i used to post about david so often that i added a label for him {see below}. it's been too long! our cute little david's single, crush, debuted at #2 on the billboard charts this week! i like it. kind of more poppy than i usually like... but let's be serious, i love the kid. he could sing anything and i would love it.

don't worry, david.

you're way better than david cook. and guess what... you'll still be super famous! and i'll buy your album when it comes out. so get right on that. oh AND you sounded awesome on that song with one republic. that was the only enjoyable part of the whole ridiculous finale :)

p.s. don't you love how i said i was on a vacation from blogging... and here i am... sitting in my hotel room... writing a post... ?

farewell.

I'll be taking a brief vacation from blogging {and just a vacation in general...} this week. We're off to California to play until Friday. Somebody please text me the numbers for David Archuleta tonight when it's time to vote :)

good song... i mean GAME.

The jazz game was soooo much fun! And it was so cool to see David A! Here's the recap of the night. We ate a yummy dinner at Biaggi's with Steph & Brett and then headed over to the game. On our walk over, we heard a bunch of girls screaming about David Archuleta, so we walked in their direction. We were disappointed to find that they were screaming at the POSTERS about David that people were carrying into the game :) The arena was packed and as soon as he walked onto the court, the ladies were screaming {including me}. He was, of course, surrounded by his entourage, so it was hard to get any good pictures. There was lots of screaming before, during and after he sang the national anthem. I took some pictures... but we were in the upper bowl and my zoom was just not cutting it. So I took one of the jumbo-tron too. He did an awesome job, and then he watched the first half of the game with the rest of the crowd. I totally watched him the entire time :) He pretty much spent the entire time signing autographs. And then they snuck him out before halftime {probably so he wouldn't get ambushed by crazed fans}.
And now on to the game: It was soooo loud & so fun! Finally the Jazz pulled it together & kept a friggin lead over the Lakers. We sat behind some annoying Lakers fans... but they left early :) Hmmmm.... that's about all I have to say about the actual game... as I'm sure you all know, they won! Go Jazz!

i am far more excited about seeing david sing the national anthem than i am about going to the jazz game :) yesssssssssss! and i'll be honest... i watched him on the news AND listened to him on the radio this morning. ok i swear this will be my last post about david archuleta this week. wait... i can't promise that. i'll probably try to take a picture at the jazz game.... and then i'll want to post it... hmmm. well, i'm a huge fan. get used to it. see you tonight, david ;)

p.s. what was with his outfit this week? it looks like a halloween costume.

and not just because he is adorable. or because he is extremely humble. or because he is from utah. or because he is mormon. really it's because his voice is AMAZING. this boy has some serious talent.
