lullabies.

i don't know any lullabies, really.

so i end up singing serena to sleep with old love songs. the ones that i love to sing with heather at the piano.

like:

the way you look tonight.
at last.
can't help lovin' that man of mine.
someone to watch over me.
embraceable you.
summertime.
they can't take that away from me.
love is here to stay.
{we have a thing for gershwin}

serena doesn't seem to mind. i think she shares my taste in music.

that is a beautiful thing. Maybe I should work on learning more old love songs and less lullabies....

My kids hear "Someone To Watch Over ME" probably 15 times a day. I kind of got stuck on that song, so these are good ones to add to my sing list.

Love, love singing to my kids. We get stuck on bluegrass. A few from the O Brother Where Art Thou? and Nickel Creek album.

No worries as long as you are singing to her it is all good. I don't know really any lullabies or old love songs. I will need to come to you in a couple of months.
