we are spending our thanksgiving holiday in hawaii this year. sean's family has had this trip planned since january, i think, and i can't believe it's already here! we're so excited! but we need your help. sean and i have both been to oahu before and have done all of the super touristy things already. we're hoping you guys have some fun ideas of what to do on oahu excluding the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Waikiki, etc. please keep in mind... these activities are for a pregnant woman and a man who is terrified of sharks :)any ideas would be appreciated!!! we leave on saturday!

I was going to say take the boat ride out and swim/snorkle with the sharks (while you are in a cage) but then i finished reading your post and found sean was afraid of them :( That is what Clay and I wanted to do SO bad but werent able to. (Plus I dont think you can boat ride...unless its not too bumpy...) ok so I am a crappy idea thinker of-er. Sorry. There is a DEVINE restaurant. On the spendier side but so delish. Its called Hau Tree Lanai its seriously worth it. SO FREAKING GOOD:)
Hanauma Bay for sure if you haven't already done that. Kapiolani Park in Waikiki is simple walk, but kind of nice. It's been a while but if you haven't gone to Kahuku Farms on the North Shore, check it out. Dolphin Quest, I think at that Kahala Hotel and if you have nothing to do, go to Cirque Du Soleil. One of my favorite places is the Ala Moana Mall. I love the small restaurants/fast food that they have in their international food court. Honestly, try the mom an pop restaurants, whether it's chinese, vietnamese, authentic Hawaiian or what. As long as you aren't too picky, you'll like it. I hope that helps.
My parents LIVE in Oahu...I'll find out for you...definitely have to get the shave ice at this one place--although you may have gone there before--I think that's a 'must do' each time though...I'll get back to you!
Lucky you! Unfortunately, I can't offer anything to do because I've never been, maybe someday.
Don't leave a single thing in your car! We just were on Oahu a few weeks ago and got our car broken into and everything stolen. Everything! All while we where standing 100 feet away. Have fun though!
Hollie's right about the thiefs. Ty's aunt got her purse stolen (last time she went 3 years ago). Nuuana Pali lookout is awesome!! That'll take 15 minutes ;)
You really should snorkel (if you can)! It's a blast.
North Shore is gorgeous even if you don't go in the water. We pretty much did all the touristy stuff that you've already done so I'm not TOO much help :) And the best shaved ice is Matsumoto (North Shore)!!
Hanauma Bay is beautiful and fun. Other then that I pretty much did the typical.
Sad you are not going to Maui. That would have been funny to see you there! Enjoy Hawaii.
