harper at two months:

weight: 11 lbs 1 oz {55%}
height: 23.5 inches {92%}

she smiles.
she coos.
she still has froggy legs and hates to straighten them.
she had 3 shots and an umbilical granuloma frozen off today. {sad!!!}
she finally kinda gets the whole day and night thing.
she usually has a 5-6 hour sleeping period at night.
she loves her vibrating rocker. {thanks, campbell!}
she grunts and snores and eats loudly and makes noise all the time.
she sometimes likes a binky. sometimes.
she spits up a lot.
she always has messy diapers at 3 a.m.
she hates being in the bath, and likes getting out. {opposite of serena at this age.}

she is adorable and we love her cute little ears and sweet little noises!

the bedding is definitely teen-ish, but i love the furniture and all of the fun accessories! i think i need those book ends.

five.

five years ago {yesterday}, on an unseasonably warm & rainy day {just like yesterday}, sean and i were married. five years and two kids later, life is good. i love my sean and my girls. i made a good decision five years ago.

maybe i cozied up next to the christmas tree and "yule log" last night and fell asleep on the couch.

bert.

my mom found our old school little people bert toy. ernie is long gone, along with any other sesame street characters if we had them.

serena is obsessed.

obsessed.

she carries him around their house all day saying "bert. bert. bert."

and at our house, she begs to watch bert on tv. we record sesame street, but it's still hard to find an episode with bert in it. we have watched a 4 minute mini-episode of bert & ernie's great adventures about 100 times.

we're hoping she gets over this bert fetish soon.

and while i'm on the subject of children's shows...

anyone else see a love connection between handy manny & kelly?

how about mover rich & nina?

i love this time of year. always busy, but always so much fun. and somewhere in the middle of all of this, we get to celebrate our fifth anniversary! lots to do :)

sick.

all three girls are sick this week.

serena got it, then i did, and despite all my efforts to prevent it, harper has it now.

blah.

yesterday i didn't do serena's hair. and i realized at like 5:00 p.m. that she hadn't had a diaper change since before her nap. harper wore the same clothes she did the day before. we watched a lot of mickey mouse and sesame street. and we had take out for dinner. great parenting... but i have felt so terrible.

hoping this cold passes quickly, especially for poor harper. no fair for such a tiny thing to have a cold :(

yesterday was harper's blessing. it was a wonderful day.

a beautiful blessing from her daddy.
a circle of worthy priesthood holders who love her.

it was nice to have so many of our friends and family there. little harper is loved!
